We are in the process making our wavelet-based and ICA-based EEG analysis algorithms accessible via a simple-to-use internet portal called URDA-EEG. We are offering access to this portal and our client software for free while we alpha and beta test our system. These algorithms were developed to aid our own investigations into human brain function and behavior. We are continuing to develop new cleaning and data mining algorithms to meet the demands of our applications and clients. Recently, we have added support for the Emotive commercial grade EEG headset.

Simply copy your data files into your local DropBox directory and access it using the URDA-EEG client software. This has become the favorite method of transferring and managing files among our users. URDA-EEG Data Mining Software (Request to Use it For Free!)

URDA-EEG Data Mining Software is a Windows-based “point-and-click” graphical user interface that provides access to the MOST-EEG algorithm. This software first allows the user to clean their EEG data and then allows the user to run their data through the MOST-EEG data mining algorithm. This is ideal for investigators using cognitive tasks in their data collection paradigms. For example, if it is of interest to reveal how multiple parts of the brain interact with each other and the activation relationship of these areas with overt behavior, then this is the software to use. MOST-EEG provides analysis of EEG that constructs a data-driven model of the brain function that took place while data were recorded. We are currently alpha testing this product with selected organizations.

URDA-EEG Data Cleaner Software (Request to Use it For Free!)

URDA-EEG Data Cleaner provides access to two different data cleaning algorithms via a “point-and-click” interface. The first algorithm, (1) a wavelet & statistics -based cleaning algorithm, provides automated removal of noise from EEG data by looking at sub-band aspects of the EEG data. The second algorithm, (2) uses wavelet statistical and mapping of the data to subspaces to isolate artefacts and removed them from the data. The second algorithm, (3) allows the user to select removal of specific types of artefacts such as Heart Beat, Eye-Movement, Eye-Blink, Cranial Muscle Contraction Activity, as well as Head Motion (cable movement) artefact. To use the application: (a) upload your data to our server, (b) use the URDA-EEG Cleaner Software to chose and execute the preferred noise removal algorithm, (c) download the cleaned data from our server. Our goal is to make the process of data cleaning as simple as possible. (Example Results)

Relisoft Frequency Analyzer-Video Game Event Data Logger
This software allows researchers and developers to synchronize eye-tracking and EEG recording equipment to video game events. To log audio event information to disk for this purpose, we modified source code of the Frequency Analyzer Software (Relisoft)to log audio spectral characteristics of video game events to disk with 16ms resolution time-code information.
